In 2007, a group of small-business owners had an idea. They asked, “What would happen if we all gave back just by doing the things we do every day?” It was a question that deeply inspired them.
B1G1’s concept is simple, they envision a world where every time you had a meal, a hungry child also received a meal. Or every time you had a cup of coffee, someone received lifesaving water. Or, imagine if every time you bought a book a tree got planted. B1G1 is a social enterprise and non-profit organisation with a mission to create a world full of giving.
Just as ForTheLandlords.com believe in solving Landlords problems, B1G1 believes that small businesses and every day transactions can change our world when we come together through the sense of giving and sharing.
At ForTheLandlords.com we spend a lot of time discussing the first world problem of how to get the best return on our capital. We passionately believe in the importance of this, but we are acutely aware of the privileged decisions we get to make. We draw power and inspiration from making sure that while we are fixing our ‘problems’ we are doing our bit to help some bigger, global, issues.
